Overview:

Agility is seeking an Associate to join our Management Company Accounting and Finance Team.  This role will take lead in the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, banking, taxes, financial statements, and budgeting for the organization.  This role will partner with individuals across the firm to ensure the success of the management company’s financial process and reporting.

This position will be located at Agility’s Denver office.  This will be a hybrid role working at least 3 days a week in the office with the option for remote work up to 2 days a week. 

In-person work and regularly being in the office are requirements of this position.  Agility's policy is to only allow individuals who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Agility's offices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:

  • Responsible for management company books and records including close month end, quarter end and year end trial balance for multiple management companies
  • Tracking, analyzing, reconciling, and maintaining all general ledger accounts and associated accounting treatment
  • Perform certain treasury functions including review and approve wires and assist the CFO in analyzing and optimizing cash management
  • Assists in financial budgeting and projection process
  • Overseeing the accounts payable process with an outside resource and manage the vendor relationship & inquiries
  • Managing the audit process and assists to provide financial information for tax filing purpose
  • Managing the accounting / operational aspects with T&E vendor and process
  • Participating in projects associated with management company financial reporting and operations.

Desired Minimum Skills and Background: 

  • Accounting background
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Good at trouble shooting and can operate independently
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

Annual Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000

Individual will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and participation in Agility’s health insurance plans including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and participation in the Firm's 401(k) plan. Individual will also be eligible for paid time off including vacation days, sick days, and parental leave and any additional benefits required by applicable federal, state, or local law.
