Real Assets Associate - Agility

Overview:

Agility is seeking a full-time Associate to join the group’s Real Assets team located in Denver, CO or Austin, TX. Agility provides outsourced investment services to endowments, foundations, and other institutional investors. The Associate reports directly to the Portfolio Manager and will play a critical role in managing and investing client portfolios across asset classes, with a primary focus and responsibility for the Real Assets component of clients’ portfolios. This opportunity provides great exposure to the Real Assets universe (private and public investments across real estate, energy, infrastructure, among others) and a fast-paced office environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of full-time work experience. Strong benefits and compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Source and execute due diligence processes on managers, direct co-investments, and assist with general portfolio management responsibilities.
• Manage existing investments and generate analysis on client portfolios.
• Conduct specialized research on industry trends and specific strategies to develop high-level investment themes.
• Oversee and help manage spreadsheets/models that track various internal data including – investment pipelines, client returns, client cash flows, and risk information.
• Attend annual meetings and conferences and develop a network of outside investment professionals to help the Agility team with due diligence and industry intelligence.
• Produce information, reports, and analysis for the Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Managers, and current and prospective clients as directed.
• Support business development activities and assume ownership of ad-hoc projects.

Desired Minimum Skills and Background:

• Undergraduate or Graduate business degree with a strong academic track record.
• CFA designation, or progress towards CFA credentials, is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and capital markets.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Positive outlook, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
• Comfortable with global business travel.

Annual Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000

Individual will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and participation in firm’s health insurance plans including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and participation in the Firm's 401k plan. Individual will also be eligible for paid time off including vacation days, sick days, and parental leave and any additional benefits required by applicable federal, state or local law.
