A Summer Engineering Analyst at Tudor, Pickering, Holt, and Co. ("TPH") functions as a member of the Integrated Subsurface Team ("IST") and is tasked with executing data driven reservoir engineering and financial analyses. The IST is a group within TPH's investment banking division and is comprised of reservoir engineers, geologists, and GIS professionals that utilize their industry experience to provide technical advisory to our clients (upstream operators, midstream operators, oil field service companies, private equity funds, and other financial institutions). The IST works closely with TPH finance professionals in a fast paced and team driven environment to deliver top quality investment banking advisory on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital solutions, and restructuring.

Summer Engineering Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Data acquisition, manipulation, analysis, and presentation
  • Learning engineering software (ARIES, PHDWin, Harmony, Spotfire, etc.)
  • Developing aptitude with common reservoir engineering workflows including PDP forecasting, type curve development, and single well economics
  • Assisting IST analysts and associates on active investment banking projects
  • Completion of a summer project addressing a reservoir engineering topic prescribed by an IST mentor and presenting to the IST

Summer Engineering Analyst Requirements:

  • Current college students with an expected graduation date in December 2021/May 2022
